A friend tipped me off about Google Code Jam. He told me he had been participating for years and proposed to practice together. I knew I wouldn’t be able to participate in 2018 since I was moving that particular weekend. But the idea was fun. So anyway, we got a bunch of friends together on a weekend afternoon to work on some code problems.
During that afternoon we didn’t get that much actual work done. On the other hand, we had a whole dynamic going on about how to attack the problems. Board schemes were made of all kinds of different approaches. It showed us again how much we can learn from each other by discussing about something.
Even though I could’t participate I decided to work on a couple of problems on my own. You can find all previous questions here. And a couple of them are answered by me over here.
